Touch Pro Threaded Text Issue

I'm having a problem with my threaded messages not sorting properly after I restore them with pimbackup. I'm running Mighty's 4.16 (doubt that has anything to do with it) and I've followed the steps to restore using pimbackup I found on this forum. I've switched it to classic, soft reset, restored the messages, soft reset, switched to threaded, soft reset, then I set the screen to not shut off and I went to all messages so the phone could rebuild the text archive. It seems as though all of the conversations have properly rebuilt. However, the one between me and my girlfriend was only showing the messages that I sent her. When I was in classic mode, all of the messages were there, they all had the correct timestamps, but they will not reorder themselves correctly. Has anyone else had this problem?

Known issue.

What you want to do is switch to classic messaging before restoring, then soft reset after a restore, from there you can switch to threaded, soft reset again and you will be good to go.

I've tried all that and the archive isn't rebuilding properly. I end up with a conversation that ends in everything that I've sent (if that makes sense). What I mean is when I open my g/f's threaded message, I see messages I sent (ex: every message starts with Me but nothing that she sent. Is this also an issue with anyone else?

Lightbulb Re: Touch Pro Threaded Text Issue

Like everyone else says:

Step 1: turn off the cell phone radio using the command manger. In other words place the phone on airplane mode.
Step 2: go to Settings and Text message layout and on the drop down menu select classic.
(If you don't have this option on settings go to windows folder and scroll down until you find SMSInboxThre..)
Step 3: Now go to PIM and restore all you messages.
Step 4:Go back to step 2 and enable Thread messages and soft reset.
Stpe 5: Once start up again go back to text messages and let it load everything and don't interrupt the process and you're done.
Step 6: you can now turn the radio on.
