too many flashesssss!!!!??

Hey guys, i'm still pretty much a lurker here, but i try different custom roms from time to time, and i must say, there are a lot of great roms, and all the guys are doing a great job. However, my questions is Is there such a thing as flashing too many times>?? can you possible mess up your device if you were flashing different roms down the line??is there a limit>?

I'd appreciate the input.

P.S im running a Telus Touch Pro,

The limit would be the mechanical limit of writes on the flash drive. There is a limit, but i highly doubt you would reach it. You would have to write the same sectors thousands and thousands of times.

I would certainly say that there are chances of goofing things up that noobs experience, especially when they are doing things wrong with the bootloader or QPST or flashing for the wrong device (PRL/PRIs count here too). It is more likely that you can get out of bad flashes, I certainly have, but some creative people have created the perfect storm to make it really tough

If you read a lot, and ask the right questions, you are not likely to ever get stuck or get to 10,000 flashes that will burn out your phone (that one guy said 9 years to get 10,000 flashes at three times a day).

Looking at 9 years of flashing.... I changes phones every six months so I guess I am good to go...

lol... 9 years., i hope i dont have to keep mine for 9 years... hehe. thanks guys, thats a relief, a guess i cant strart flashing 10 roms a day..

i can't imagine having the cellphone i had 9 years ago. it was a nokia. don't even think it had a color screen. like 8 years ago i had a sanyo 4900 though. that phone was badass. actually, i still have it lol... hmm.. i wonder what the touch pro will look like in 8 years.

that's true, we've come a long way., i used to have the nokia 6190,. awesome phones, played sankes, on it all the time, Best game ever...lol
