where are my mp3's?

i connected my htc to my lappy, then copy and pasted all the mp3 files i wanted on my phone. When connecting i seen the fothe root folder which is where i pasted my mp3 files. When trying to access them on my htc, I found out that I could not find them at all on my phone.

So, myquestion is, where the heck are my mp3's at? and how do i add them to the liabrary just the same way as if i purchased them from the sprint music store? Thank you in advance

Do you see them when using active sync? Did you copy them on your SD card?

Yea...what he said. And..what is fothe root folder? You should be putting your music in the My Music folder in the My Documents folder on the mem card, or if you don't have a mem card on the device in the same folder. They will automatically be in your library if you put them in the right folder.

when i plug my htc into my usb port on my laptop i dont even get My Documents/My Music

Keep in mind this is my first time ever connecting my phone to my laptop. I do have a 1gb sd card in my phone.

OK, so now I have found them, I find it somewhat difficult to manage them. When a music file is playing. Is there a way to stop it from playing, then delete it?

there is no stop button. just hit the pause. There is no way to delete in the music tab. You would have to open a file explorer to delete files, or hook it up to your computer and delete them
