Skype 3 Beta
In case someone is interested Skype 3 beta has been released to the public.
New features include sms, and file transfers. http://www.skype.com/intl/en-gb/down...owsmobilebeta/ I just installed and it is running smoothly so far.

Ooops, sorry, I just found a thread about this on the general section. I am just so used to hanging out in this section that I forget there is a world out there.
If it makes it any better I can corroborate that it works fine on the Touch Pro.

that is audioroute for voip i dont know if it will work for skype though as i dont use either

Hehehe, yeah I went on to a search frenzy as well and found the same thing.

Well, the one thing I don't like is that if I close the program the speaker behavior doesn't return to normal. It stays in whatever was the last behavior chosen. So if you re route sound to the internal speaker and close the program after making a call and then open the Media Player for example, the sound still will come out through the internal speaker.
I can live with it in the mean time though. It's great not to be dependent on a headset to make a Skype phone call. Last edited by Nimdock; 03-29-2009 at 06:36 PM.
