Quick ?uestion for those who have RIT dyed their TP battery cover...

I dyed mine black. It came out perfect! But, only 2 weeks in, it's starting to rub off on the sides. So, as far as re-dyeing goes, can I simply re-do the original process on the already dyed cover OR do I have to remove the dye and start over? Any input will be greatly appreciated, TIA!

I would use an alcohol pad to eat through the grease. that way the new dye sticks better

if you want to extend the life of the dye, make sure your hands are dry. wet/sweaty/over-lotioned hands will wear it off quicker.
