disabled htc dialer and lost volume control

I did a search and couldn't find an answer.
I hate HTC Touchflo 3D and the delay on the dialer. All of their software has a really cool look to it, but perform like crap.

I used diamondtweaks to diasable the htc dialer and went back to the stock wm dialer but then the volume buttons no longer work during a call. Is their a way to get the volume buttons back with the wm dialer?

Alot of people on the crippled verizon touch pro ran into this problem when they disabled the dialer to regain memory. Here is the fix. http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...80&postcount=7
