Get Touch pro or wait for newer phone?
 

Hey guys,

My sero contract expired and I was wonder if I should renew it to get a touch pro. Currently I have a regular touch. I hate the on screen keypad. I used to have a Motorola Q before that. Typing was so much faster and easier.

How is the touch pro? you guys recommend it?

Should I get the touch pro or wait for another model?

i would get it now...puts you in line for eol and the rollout for the tp 2 thats comming out at the end of this year...

Pull the trigger. I love my Touch Pro and its the Verizon version. The Sprint one is even better! Besides there will always be a "newer" phone on the horizon , so why wait???

its so tempting because its like a new toy.

how is the size of tp? is it bulky at all?

look like a side kick when you flip out the keyboard

nothing like the sidekick and not bulky at all...ever have a 755p? they are the same thickness

The reviews I read before getting my Alltel or Verizon TP (had both) complained about the bulkiness of the device so I was concerned. But a quick comparison to various devices I have had before , Blue Angel or my wifes Env etc., quickly put to rest the notion that this device is "bulky". I would have to say it is a perfect blend between size and function. Not to small to use, and yet big enough to have a nice screen and well spaced keyboard.

I think it's funny when people talk about the Pro being a brick.
I like to throw it up next to my old Nokia 6125 candybar, which no one would ever say is a big phone, and the Pro is only a couple mm wider. The Nokia is thicker.

Kinda crazy to see how far we've come tech wise...

get a tp and tweak the heck out of it! it will warm you up for the tp2!
