Internet Pictures Blocked

Anyone know how to turn off the "Internet Pictures Blocked" message in poutlook? I really don't care if someone is trying to hack my phone, I'll just Hard Reset.

I'd rather be able to see the message without going through the hassle!

Any help would be great! Thanks!!!

That will download attached pictures, but not internet linked pictures.

Thanks though!

Anyone else know how to change that security setting?

Re: Internet Pictures Blocked

They're not hacking your phone as much as testing your email to see if it's valid for future spamming. My strongest, heartfelt, honest recommendation is that you never mess with it. Sorry for not giving you the answer you want but I believe very strongly that my answer is more helpful to you.

In case you don't know how it works: spammers tag individual email image links with codes that are unique to each email address. When their web server records a hit on a specific image URL, they know an email client application somewhere has opened the message and bingo, that email address becomes much more valuable to spammers. It's a lot easier to hard reset your phone than it is to change your email address (at least for most people).

I also really hate having to download internet linked pics and I hear what your saying but I dont open random emails not to mention gmail stops 90% of that crap. Im careful with my email address but if it gets spammed so what...I make a new one. Besides who can spot a penis enlargement email from a mile away. Can I say penis?

Re: Internet Pictures Blocked

Yeah, my windows mail has been auto opening pics forever, no biggie. I'm pretty sure I could spot the penis enlargement ad from a mile away if they actually worked...

So, is there a way to make it go away?
