CAB Repository
Please excuse the question if the answer is obvious to all. I'm kind of a n00b. Does anyone know of a good CAB repository/web site? If no such place exists I would have an interest in creating one.
Thoughts anyone? |
Re: CAB Repository
I like the idea. I mean there are plenty of software sites but we could use a cab spot. I would love to have it where we could use the inigma software to download the files as well.

Re: CAB Repository
Could be our version of the App store.

Re: CAB Repository
I considered building a site for that and hosting ROMS etc., I just don't have the free time like I used to to develop things. I've got a dedicated server running debian that I was gonna host it on.

Re: CAB Repository
Cool. Does anyone have suggested locations for hosting? I do not think we would need much space to start with since most CABs are pretty small in size.
I normally run my own servers, but I do not think I am set up to keep such a repo up more than 80% of the time. |
Re: CAB Repository
check out freewarepocketpc.net and 1800pocketpc.com

Re: CAB Repository
I can still host one, i just don't have the time to develop it. It would take a bit of work to keep the apps up to date etc. Be good to have both cab files users and OEM files for chefs.

Re: CAB Repository
Doctor, I'll help get it started and maintain it. I have some CABs I've been collecting on my storage card to get some content. I'll PM you so we can discuss more.
