Ultimately, I think the Exchange server is a big issue... At least for me.

Re: Google Sync and Active Sync

I too use Google Sync for Contacts and Calendar. I too when it first ran all my contacts disappeared, but re-synced with my Google contacts. It does push mail as well.

It works great for me, after the lost contact scare.

Wait wait...it does push mail? As in it pushes GMail messages via an activesync connection?

I thought Google does not support push mail yet. Are you using a e-mail forwarding service like web2mail?

No, I don't think so... I just wanted to verify that he was still getting push mail from his MS Exchange server even though his AS connection was to/through Google.

One of my concerns is that if I have everything set to AS with Google, my Exchange setup will work differently than (re. not as well as) it does now.

Like one of the other posters, I lost my contacts, and had to re-establish my Exchange server info (after a hard reboot, since it didn't seem to want to do it any other way).

Has anyone done this with any success?

If you're using Google Sync, does push mail from your Exchange server still work?

If you use google sync, then you will not get push e-mail from your activesync. You can only have one exchange partnership at a time.
