Wifi Speeds very slow (Tp Verizon)

I have been trying to figure out why my wifi speeds are very slow.

When I have EVDO on my speed test give me the result of 3000kbps. Thats as good as EVDO will get .

When I do the same test but with EVDO off and WIFI on my speed test is about the same or even slower.

My internet connection is FIos 20/20 so I know its not my connection thats the problem.

Is the phone able to get faster speeds or is there something im missing here?

The interface to the wifi chipset from the CPU in almost every WM device is very slow. Its just the way things are.

Wow that really sucks. Im geting more speed from the EVDO then THe wfi. Thats really horrible since I have FIOS and the best I can do on my TP is 3000kbps . ( THE MAX I GET ON FIOS IS 20,000KBPS)

I found this a few months ago and found that it improved my wifi speeds by a good amount. Here the article and I will post the cab. Hope this helps.
