since the official release of 6.5 last week, when can we expect windows to ship out the rom to vendors. I know we can't get a leaked rom till at least one vendor has it. Really i'm just wondering when we can expect it in the kitchen or expect custom roms to start popping up?

we already have tons of custom roms with 6.5 but no one knows what the RTM 6.5 build is yet. We should get a leak of it soon, but dont expect any devices to have it till around late q2-q3.

a leak would be perfect. i don't plan on updating my phone till the tp2 release so i know i still have about 4-6 months. i waiting for the rtm release because they added the new voice to text feature into the 6.5 rom. none of our leaked roms have that feature.

since phone vendors have to choose when they want to release the update, plus most vendors tend to make custom ROM's for their particular phones. which again will take some time on top of the MS launch date. No doubt they'll be numerous members of different communities coming up with their own ROM's so as the get the final RTM build of 6.5 on to phones quicker.
