Sleep mode!!

Hi,
I am a proud owner of a TP for last 3 days. I am so excited playing with this toy!!!
I have one question, after my TP goes to sleep mode( or what ever we call it),I have to push the switch at the top to make it wake up all the time.
is there any other way to wake up your phone?

As far as I know that's the only way. I've never heard of waking up the phone any other way....sorry

slide open your KB to get your phone out of sleep mode. the button might be easier though.

by the way Welcome to your already established addiction, lol !! PPCGEEKS anonymous starts at 8pm every Tues and thur nights.

you can go into start/ settings/ system then key lock and select do not lock buttons and then any button will wake the pone but itsmore ikely tomake calls in your pocket

I just wish we could find a fix for the phone going into sleep mode while on a call.....I've used Tweaks and nothing seems to work.

+1 Thats why i didnt post that up, sliding open the keyboard to me is better than randomly calling people or draining your battery with the phone on in your pocket.

OP:Keyboard opening works.. pulling the stylus out works(if set up).. i would undo the buttons lock, your make calls,run apps, all the time im sure

s2u2 has an option to sleep or not during call.. its one of the first few options "blank screen on call" never used the feature, but im guessin thats simliar

There are a couple of ways to wake up you phone I see.

Press the top button.
Pull the stylus.
Open your sliding key board.

Also you can go to start>settings >go to the system tab at the bottom> power>advanced tab at the bottom. Here you can adjust the sleep mode timer.

There's a setting somewhere to allow all buttons to wake the phone I thought.

My question #1: Is there a way to disable the "wake on keyboard open" setting? When its in my pocket and the littlest movement shifts the keyboard, it wakes. Then all the buttons and touchscreen go nuts while it's in my pocket.

My question #2: I want my phone to go blank or to sleep while I'm talking because my ears can open programs faster than my fingers! Anyway to set that? (without getting s2u2, had too many problems with that program on my mogul)
