Powervision autodisconnect

I am not sure but this is probably the reason why my batter drains in about 4 hours, seven though I am not actually transfering any data, when I sue it the arrows are "white" but when I am not they are "gray" does that still drain the battery, if so is there like a autodisconnect option?

no, it doesn't drain the battery when the arrows are grayed out...only when they are white and its transferring data

if u go into the comm manager, you can toggle data connection on and off..

There's a great option that I've been using on my windows mobile phones for a while. It's a regedit that automatically disconnects your data after being idle a certain time. There are 2 cabs at this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...89&postcount=6 that do the regedit for you. One is for 1 minute and the other is for 5 minutes. There's another option too. A great program called Diamond Tweak that does all kinds of tweaks also lets you turn this feature on and the idle time is adjustable. what errors? did you install to "device" or "storage card"? Did you download the diamond_tweak_0.5.3_english.cab from the website i gave?

I have data on all day, 24/7, and I can get a full day out of my battery. I've noticed the thing that drains battery the most is (by far) being in a low coverage spot, where your phone goes between roaming and Sprint.

Data on has had little effect on my battery life.

Out of curiousity....what rom are u currently running and how often do u check ur email/go online?
