(Paranoid) Question About MemMaid

Is there a way to use MemMaid EXCLUSIVELY for the "RAM Release", or whatever it's called, utility? I'm paranoid because I've read posts where people have inadvertently messed things up using MemMaid when they were trying to schedule this or that. All I want is an occasional "release" of RAM to free up that which gets stuck when closing Opera Mobile and other resource intensive applications. It would be even better if I could schedule RAM releases throughout the day without risking damage to my device, which is what I've read some versions are capable of doing. Would I be better off with SKTools or is MemMaid fine if you know what you're doing? I've have multiple models and have been all through PPCs for years so I'm comfortable/advanced. I just don't want to risk getting stuck in boot loops after putting months of work into my phone using a program I'm unfamiliar with.

due to the excess of ram in this phone i dont see why you need to use a mem manager... i go through days and never get above 60% usage and goes back to 40~50 when i close all running programs. back in the day of the titan i would always have to use a mem manager, but ever since the vogue ive never touched it again.

I use both SKTOOLS & Memmaid but I prefer SKTOOLS. They have an option in their big list called "Shawdow Services" in which you have 3 options (FreeUp Ram, Pie Cache Cleaner & Shawdow Cleaner) to choose from that you can enable to run in the background unnoticed.

+1 for SKTools and their Shadow Service!

And if you're concerned with potential problems with anything, then make sure to have a recent backup always on hand.
