Battery issues..return to sprint?
 

I have a Sprint TP that I purchased not from Sprint. I am using it on VZW. The battery is lasting me around 1-2hrs listening to an online radio stream in the morning coming off of a full charge. I have charged fully and drained fully multiple times to try and calibrate the battery with no luck.

Would I be able to take the battery into a Sprint store and have the battery replaced?

This is a known issue with HTC. It's not anything that can be replaced. You just have to keep the phone plugged in when streaming anything or when not using it.

Second poster is correct this phone will not take constant stream of data and last long at all. No different than downloaded any other thing on data connection.

and sprint will never even touch you phone since your account is with vzw... youll never be able to have anyone,not vzw(cuz its a sprint phone) or sprint(cuz its on vzw) look at it.. you have no warranty on the phone.. did u get it off Craigslist or ebay or soemthing like that im guessin..

thats the prob with a sprint tp on vzw...

Its an ebay phone. I guess I'll just have to get a spare battery since i cant really use my headphones while the phone is cradled.

Don't try to calibrate a Lithium Ion battery by intentionally doing drain cycles. That's actually counterproductive.

Since its an ebay phone yours probably didnt come with this accessory but the brand new one comes with a headphone/charger extender thing that lets u charge and use headphones at the same time.

streaming anything on the touch pro will drain your battery extremely fast.
