Anyway to change the size of font of what I type in a SMS?

I have searched around for the problem and all I get is the size of the actual messages that I can easily change with the D-pad. I have also changed the text size through the options in settings.

My problem is basically just how do I change the size of the stuff that I type in the box before sending a text message? Not really sure how to word it very well so I'll just post a picture.

EDIT: Apparently even after I had set the text size to what I want countless times, I tried once more like Unknown Zone said even though I knew I had it set right. I hit okay and its the correct size now.

I can change the text size by going to start/setting/system/screen "text size" tab...and it worked....is that what you are looking for.

Re: Anyway to change the size of font of what I type in a SMS?

I had done that countless times before and it was set how I wanted it. I just tried again just to make sure for the 10th time and it decides to finally change to what I have had it set to the whole time. I've had weirder stuff happen. Thanks for the quick reply!

Re: Anyway to change the size of font of what I type in a SMS?

I am not sure how/if you can change the text size, but I know you can change the window size of your text input? Let me know if you would be interested in that and I will try to dig up the thread.

Try this

Via XDA...

"Expand SMS Typing Area
Use the freeware Total Commander and edit the file 'thread_sms.htm' in the windows directory.
Look for this part: <inbox:content id="COMPOSESUBJECT" width="98%" height=35 spell...
By changing the 'height' (in this case 35) to 50 or 70 you will get 3 or 4 lines for text replies, respectively.
Soft reset after editing the file.
