phone wont active sync
 

Ok when I had my touch and my mogul when i connected them to the computer i had to turn off Advanced networking to get a connection. But now i have the touch pro and still cant get it to connect, even after turning off advanced networking...what gives?

If there is a device profile on your active sync settings already, try removing the device profile from the desktop active sync settings and resync...

nothing...it keeps saying generic serial when i plug it into the usb and its asking for drivers...

and this is killing me...all i want to do is load some custom roms off of here...and i cant even get the damn thing to connect

Try reinstalling activesync. Soft-reset the phone, then attempt to sync.
