Magnetic Leather Case for Touch Pro worth it?

Just want to share with you guys my experience with the magnetic case and the touch pro after i got the touch pro i deciced to get a clear cover for it but the problem was that with the cover it hardly fit in the case that original come with the sprint box so i decided to use the magnetic case for my old mogul cause it fit perfectly on it, so after couple of days the screen start acting kind of funny the color was perfect for a minute and the other wasn't so one day using the keyboard i saw that the screen change to weird different color after closing the keyboard that happen for couple of days after one final day i slide the keyboard used for few minutes and close and the screen become all black not color at all did like a dozen of soft reset and nothing toke it to sprint store and told them the phone was defective and gave me another brand new so after that experience i deciced not to use magnetic leather case anymore so good luck with yours

Good advise. I was wondering the same thing about that but decided not to use it. Obviously I made the right decision. Sorry about your phone but glad you were able to swap it out.

I've always thought the magnetic cases were completely daft for such an electronic device and without a doubt they do cause more than just display problems. I received one as a gift for my Apache and after two days of it locking up and being completely stoned, I sliced the neo-dy's out of it and had a chick friend put some very thin velcro on it.

No more problems but not silent like the magnets. It did secure the phone better though.

Very nice case dude! I'm assuming you have to take it out of the case completely to use the keyboard?

Be careful. I thought the reason they switched to a velcro case was because the magnetic causing were causing display problems and other internal issues.

I've never had an issue with mine....I just keep the screen inward facing.

it may mostly affect the screen display having picture distortion after a little while using the magnetic leather case

WOW my only advice to you would be to use some punctuation and sentence structure.

That literally got my blood pressure up trying to read through it. good luck with the case. I just bought one, I hope I dont have a problem. If I do I know it is the ticket to a brand new TP!

I just got an mag case for my touch pro last saturday the official one by htc fr the touch pro/fuze from my cousin(he works at best buy part time so he hooked it for me..no 31.99 plus tax for me lol) and its no problems so far. But I would htc would not make a product that would harm another one of there products but who knows...guess I'll watch closely to see if I find any problems
