Internet connection does not seem stable.

I've had my TP for awhile now.. I came from the Mogul and Touch.

I feel like the Touch was a much more solid phone in general.

One problem I have noticed is the data connection on the touch pro seems VERY unstable.. It constantly cuts out and the speed in general is much slower.

When I tether I only get like 300 kbps where my Touch had downstream 3-4x better.

Has anyone noticed this?

Re: Internet connection does not seem stable.

my tethering speeds is almost half of that of my Mogul, but is still like 1.5mbits, which gives me ~150+ kB/s

It cuts off every so often when I'm travelling on a bus from NY to Boston, where my AIM will randomly disconnect, but I can only imagine thats because I'm actually losing signal in some areas. When tethering from a fixed position its pretty stable.
