Different Video Player?
Okay, so I had several videos that on my pc - I downloaded from youtube and converted to mp4 - Ipod compatible. I had them on my storage card in my Pro and WMP played them just perfect. No issues.
Now all of a sudden its stating that the file is corrupt or the extension is not recognizable and wont play any of my videos except one thats a wmv. I also have WVD downloaded and it wont play those videos that I download that way either. Is there another video player thats good for the PRO and wont take up a lot of memory!? I miss watching my videos!! |

Re: Different Video Player?
thats more for youtube through IE/Opera. I want a base video player to play things on my storage card. But I'll give it a whirl.
Thanks. |
Re: Different Video Player?
no it's not. TCPMP will run the formats in question.

Re: Different Video Player?
Only the WMP, the htc video player built into album, and Coreplayer will efficiently play video. Now TCPMP will play them with the correct codecs installed, but will use much more CPU/battery because they are not natively hardware accelerated by QTV. Even Coreplayer at present is dicey because they had to reverse-engineer Qualcomm's QTV API calls.
