GPS Turn off when push the power button

Hi all,
Does the internal GPS receiver turn off when you push the power button to kill the screen? Cause I'd like to use Noni GPSPlot to track my trip, but I don't need the screen to stay on.

When I tried it, it looks like it turns it off or would it be the program just not running when I turn the screen off? If so is there a way I can get around this? Just have the GPS tracking run in the background while the phone's screen isn't on.

Thanks!

If it doesn't, let it run in the background and being on your homescreen, your display should turn off at the interval you have set. Program will still run but your screen will black out like you want it.

Like add the program to the non TF3d screen, the standard WM Home?

You could be in tf3d, let the program run in the background, and get back to tf3d if that is your home screen. you're screen should time out. Use the "home key" on your tp to back out of the program without actually closing out of it.
