There is a post from a Sprint employee that come here to make a post that the ribbon on the phone is scaped and causes the copper to short out the screen, they are aware the post was about 3 days ago. I am short in time so I can not post at this time.

I just got off the phone with sprint telling them about this problems and they didn't even hesitate to send me a new phone. I was told that they are aware of the issue.

Just got my 6th one yesterday... never dropped one.. was running stock rom on all but one. 2 of the screens crapped out on me, the 1st one i got back in november and the one I got 2weeks ago..

I've got one with an october build date that is fantastic. I even have a nasty twitch where I slide the phone open and closed in my hand while doing something else.

I just got two new ones as replacements for my two Moguls and so far they are flawless. I'm hoping I got lucky.

Also, the two touch pros I got are mostly a silver/chrome color. I thought they were only mostly black? Or is this the normal color for them?

It has been stated before by a sprint repair technician that the sliding screen is scraping the connection ribbon. It is a known issue at sprint and thats why theyre replacing them without many questions. Just let them know and a replacement should be on the way.

I have two TP's & one is from early November. Both work perfectly, but neither one ever gets slid open.

I use TouchPal as my only KB option (I find TP in T9+ is 100 times faster than any hardware KB), I hate the hardware KB & have never used it once in either phone.

If I could get a Diamond with all the other TP features except the KB I would buy two tomorrow.........

I'm having the same problem, the phone overheated, now the screen is all jumbled.
print isn't much of a help, seeing how they just want to push me into the sprint store.
I don't know how to go about getting a new phone,
someone help pls?

I've never had an issue like this. I had it get really messed up on the graphics for TF3D before, but that was on an old custom ROM a few months ago.
