What killed my battery?

Went to bed with battery around 90%. When I woke up 8 hours later it was completely dead.

Anyone know what may have killed it?

Re: What killed my battery?

It could be a number of things that are killing your battery..It depends a lot on what you have running in the background too..And as stated above if things like wifi are running it was drain faster.

Re: What killed my battery?

was your phone near another cell phone? i've seen 2 cell phones sitting right next to each other drain a lot faster b/c they have to up the signal power b/c of interfering with each other.

Wifi will drain the hell out of a battery even on the highest power-save mode. it just wasn't designed for battery-life.

Re: What killed my battery?

WiFi was off. Data was not disabled but I had no data programs open...if that makes a difference. I didn't have beam set to receive. Is that the same as disabled? Do I have to manually disable data when I am not using it for awhile, like overnight?

thanks!

Re: What killed my battery?

sounds like something happened and your phone overheated(when it overheats it drains the battery FAST and also stops charging). make sure all apps are closed before charging.

yes, its still an active connection. i use the "long press" to turn off data. as long as the arrows are showing instead of the bars its burning power.
