when installing multiple .CABs...

is it alright if you cancel a soft reset when it asks you to reset, and you just install more cabs or should i be soft reseting after each one it asks me to?

I cancel most of the time if I have multiple cabs to install and it works just fine after you finally do the soft reset. That's just my personal experience though.

You can cancel it and at the end do just one soft reset that should be fine as long as you dont try to use any application that requires a soft reset first...
