See windows folder WITHOUT Total Commander??
I can't navigate to my /Windows folder with Windows Mobile Device Center. I'd rather not use Total Commander because it's not free, and I tried it (and the windows folder won't show up there either).
I've already tried going to folder options and making it show hidden files and folders. That still didn't do it. Any other ideas? Thanks! |
Re: See windows folder WITHOUT Total Commander??
total commander isn't free?
I downloaded my copy here http://ghisler.fileburst.com/ce/tcmdpocketarm.cab and I've never paid anything :/ as far as viewing the windows folder, try using active sync on your pc to browse the phone's internal memory. |
Re: See windows folder WITHOUT Total Commander??
Yes, Total commander is definitely free shareware.
Highly recommend trying it again... The windows folder is there on my phone. |
Re: See windows folder WITHOUT Total Commander??
Yeah, to clarify. Total commander is free. At least it was when i installed it. Not a fan of total commander for some reason. Going to try some other options. What do you suggest if not total commander? Hopefully your suggestion is also free. :)

Re: See windows folder WITHOUT Total Commander??
You need to uncheck "Hide system files" as well if you're trying to view the Windows folder from your PC. Should be right under the hidden files option.
Also, he was probably using the PC version of TC, which is shareware. |
Re: See windows folder WITHOUT Total Commander??
I didn't know total commander was free... on the site where I found it, they said it was a shareware file manager.
http://www.ghisler.com/ I unchecked the "hide system files" tab, and it worked! Thanks for everything guys! |
