So i finally got pissed with my TouchPro because it was acting wacky i.e. jumpy screen and the screen going black out of nowhere and not being able to get it back on. I reflashed to the factory settings and ran to the sprint store. I thought it was a conflict with the programs i had on it...nope. They changed out the LCD screen and we are as good as new.

The sprint store changed the LCD out? How long were you without your touch pro?

Did they charge you for the screen? My phone dropped from my holster to the pavement yesterday and cracked the screen. The Sprint repair shop said they would have to charge me $119 to replace the screen, and recommended paying $50 to Asurion for a new phone instead.

If it is accidental they won't replace it for free. If it is a defect, they will change it right then and there...if they have the parts. If not, they will order them or get a new phone for you...or order a new phone. It all depends.

Yeah sprint recently started to reinforce their replacement rules.

I had 3 cracked screens (all my fault) replaced for free by the Sprint store. Now if I do it I'll call Asurion.

yeah, it was free. they didnt ask many questions...just said if they couldnt fix it they would give me a new phone but they had a screen there so asked me to come back in 30 mins and fixed it.

How recent was this? I came in with a cracked screen one day, they didn't even ask me for my account information, just swapped out the screen and off I went. I guess it just depends on who's working.
