No more USB connection choices...

Yes, I made sure the settings>connections>USBto PC> ask is checked.

SSK1.5 R4R rom, nothing else...

I've unchecked the "ask" box, soft reset the phone, checked the box, soft reset the phone. Still just opens ICS when I connect. Never asks.

Re: No more USB connection choices...

so you don't get activesync or disk drive? only internet sharing?

try reinstalling the cab to include internet sharing and see if that helps or triggers it to come back.

Re: No more USB connection choices...

The apps work, just no choice.

No cab either, was OEM'd in the ROM. I'm going to reluctantly do a hard reset....

Re: No more USB connection choices...

yeah you can try a hard reset or try this cab first--it may or may not work, but something to try before you do a hard reset...did you just DL the ROM or has it been on there and stopped showing up?

Re: No more USB connection choices...

I had the same problem with the same ROM(kitchen ROM). I had not checked the "do not ask again" either. I had to reflash, and just do not use the ICS function from that screen anymore, AS and USB Drive work fine. When I want to use ICS I go to Programs/ICS.

Re: No more USB connection choices...

The reset did it, I'll save the cab if I have it happens again....

I've had the ROM for a few weeks now, and everything was there.

hmm, after the restore of my settings, it went away... trying cab now....CAB made the ICS not pop open anymore, but no option screen. I'll have to do another hard reset and build from scratch, if I'm really bored....

Thanks for the help guys!
