I downloaded Opera the other day and it asked me about gears enabled or disabled. I had no idea what it was but enabled it anyways. Everything is that same. What is gears supposed to do. I read the entire article by the way I still don't know. Maybe its to new to really make a difference?

In some situations, it speeds up web pages.. but few use google gears. 'Some blogs do, that's the common case.

Its cool, but largely useless in the larger-web-world.
