Here we go, this CAB will install an application in Programs that will enable TV out. I apologize for the lack of an icon, I plan to rip the one out of the control panel later on today and use it for an icon.

Forgot to add, my exe is native Win32 code, so you will not need .NET CF for it at all.

Thanks for doing that so quickly. So now, all one has to do is plug in their mutli adapter, plug the video cables into the 3.5mm port, then run your program.

Plugging in the HTC TV out cable or flipping the registry, at least on my ROM, is required to get the TV-out settings in the system tab to open.

We're not talking about TV out cables though. This is used with the stock multimedia adaptor and a simple ipod video cable. When you plug this type of setup in, there is no TV out. What we can do now, however, is simply run the EXE from the programs tab, and it will act as though we just plugged in a true tv out cable.

Can you set this up as a toggle? If it is run without the cable plugged in, the device currently gets stuck in TV Out mode.

Thanks!

Yeah, I should be able to do something about that. I'll have a new version later today.
