Gmail Not Updating Mail
 

Is anybody else experiencing this? I've set up Gmail as one of my mail accounts, but it wont update. I've adjusted the automatic send/recieve times, and I've also used the manual send/recieve to no avail.

Anybody else having this issue?

I did notice this issue sometime ago as well. I wasn't sure what was causing it or how to fix it so ended up deleting my gmail account and redoing it. Its been working fine since then.

Thanks for the response.

Yeah I figure that would be a "second to last resort" type of thing. I'm noticing that I'm having to restart a lot of things on this phone.... sometimes my txt messaging won't update or my phone wont be able to connect to the internet (through data connection, not wifi) but both these problems get solved by a reset.

I may just dump this thing back to stock settings and see if I have any problems then.

This Gmail Outage might have something to do with it...

i was just gonna say...i logged in an laptop on the site was unavaiable....

im in now though, and my TP is updating as well, just sent a test real quick when i say this, before responding.. works fne now here

yeah I had this problem last night n I had to go into my gmail account n edit some settings in there then it worked great

I had heard about this outage but since I was still able to access Gmail through my PC I assumed it was false.

Are you using IMAP or POP3 service?
