roaming/using other networks signal

what are the reg edits for getting the best signal while roaming or whatnot. i know ther is a cab titled for this but it has other things in it that i dont need/want

as far as I know no one has figured out how to get better signal. some claims say that different ROMs have better signal but I believe that well have to wait for an upgrade from the carriers on this one. Just my .2

Is this what you are referring to?

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/OEM/InitProv/PhoneSettings there's a new string value titled "Automatic-B." change the "ItemCount" value from 2 to 3. Soft Reset "Automatic-B" is nothing more than another name for Roam Only

yeah like when im roaming so ill have better signal, like being able to pickup a diff networks signal beter
