Hey fellas/ladies im a total newb and want some recommendations on programs and apps that will keep me happy with my Fuze

Dude, you need to check out xda-developers website for GSM ROM's. NATF has made some sick ROM's for our phones with a great collection of apps included.

same here, got the GSM unlocked and hope will be able to utilize it more and make myself happier

For a MAJOR speedup, try the NATF v4.3 ROM over at XDA or flash the latest official HTC ROM just released yesterday. It won't have any of the AT&T customizations, but it is SOOOO much faster than the stock ROM.

saw this on another thread and it is really making me want to try out the official HTC ROM. do you have it? if so, how you liking it so far? those instructions just seem so 'busy', i guess it pays to play
