Start-Program-Launches HTC Program Launcher

Wouldn't is be sweet if you clicked on start, programs and the htc program launcher came up? With my limited knowledge of how thing work in the PCP world I would think that all you would have to do is create a shortcut to the program that is the htc program launcher and place it in the start menu. What is this program or is there a easier way?

Re: Start-Program-Launches HTC Program Launcher

also how do you tweak the programs that show up in the HTC all programs? I have duplicates, programs I never use that I dont want to show up and some of them are not in alpha order.

Re: Start-Program-Launches HTC Program Launcher

What you're asking for is very similar to the Start Menu in the Touch Pro 2 and Diamond 2. Considering TF3D has already been ported I'm thinking it's only a matter of time until the new Start Menu is as well. Fast forward to 26 sec of the second video here.

this is what you need

all that is left is the path to map it to the launcher

that forum wants me to register before I can view it, what is on that page (sorry pet peev of mine that you have to give out your email to everyone on and there mom to get info on the web.)

I think your misunderstand me, we dont have to replace the Programs menu under the start menu, just add the "HTC programs launcher in the start menu so we can get the all programs that way, just need to know the path of that program, cant be that tough, create a shortcut in the shortcut menu.

Last, were is the HTC start menu getting the items to poplulate it with, mine is got duplicates and some of it is not in alpha order.
