Re: Battery - Is there one that has a longer life?

There is a a battery that is a 1500mAh that will fit in the stock case. Ive scene them for like 70 bucks i think. They are 10% more mAh so you can expect maybe an extra hour or 2 of play time. This is the largest I seen and expect to see that still fits in the stock case. Also advance config has options to increase battery life by slowing down features on your phone when in idle though this shouldn't greatly increase your play time will increase your standby. I recently turned these features on and have notice a difference with my EVDO and my blue tooth on all day and still showing 4 bars of battery.

If you're on Sprint try going to your local Sprint store, where I am they are pretty generous with giving you a couple of extra batteries no charge.

Re: Battery - Is there one that has a longer life?

I have this battery:
http://www.seidioonline.com/product-p/basi15htcx1.htm

Its a 1500mAh battery that is exactly the same as the stock battery, no new battery door required.

Don't bother. Not enough of a noticeable difference from stock.

I agree, I have three of those batteries. They work fine, but to call them "high capacity" is a total joke......

Re: Battery - Is there one that has a longer life?

I bought a seido 1500mah and one of the cheap combos that included dock/battery charger and a extra battery off ebay. All together I spent around $70 but I now have three batteries. I rotate them on the dock charger and usually keep the seido in the phone, the other in my backpack for school, and the cheep ebay one in my car for emergencys. I went from alway worring about using my phone too much to not worring about it at all.

I'm looking for a good deal on ebay where I can get the cradle and charge set for a reasonable price.

That's the same way I got my TP, was a replacement for a mogul... funny thing is, when I got mine (thru the self serve replacement request form on sprint's web site) they sent me a spare battery, so I actually have 2 batteries for it... my only problem now is I need to find a charge base so i can charge the second battery outside the phone... lol

Yeah that's like I was saying. They have the cradle/battery chargers on ebay:

Try that.
