Preparing TP for a claim with a broken soft reset and no PC...
Hi all.
So basically, I've had this phone for a while and despite the ups and downs, its been a great experience. However, between the broken soft reset and my longing for a TP2, I feel our bond has come to an end. As the title says I have no access to a pc (i've been using this as a computer), and my soft reset is broken. I need to flash my boot screen to stock, then my radio, and finally relock it before I can send it in. I've been trying for the past two hours to change the boot screen to no avail. I'm pretty sure they wont take it back the way it is right? I have the thread for flashing from sd card saved, but so far I cant find the stock boot screen. Any help would be greatly appreciated! ps- I'm soft resetting by leaving the phone plugged in, and letting the battery fall out then putting it right back in.

How can a 'soft reset' be broken? It's just a software command that tells the phone to restart, isn't it?

Pretty sure he means the power button isn't working. That would certainly mess with the order of things.

This generally leads to sketchy results at best. I would suggest getting to an internet cafe or library and using a PC to flash it back. |
