Touch Pro as a Web Cam

Hey guys...I was at a coffee house one night and this guy was streaming a live recording to myspace over the weekend (he had a sprint diamond). When I confronted him he showed me his diamond and it definitely had a custom ROM on it. This guy works for Sprint and told me that all of his custom software comes from sprint. Anyway, my question is...

Do we have a software program to tum our cameras into web cams?

I use my TP as a webcam with a program called Webcamera Plus. It works pretty good, but in order to stream, I believe you would need a secondary connection such as wifi, since the program requires a sync relationship to run and can't use Phone as Modem in that case.

This is really cool. I set one up, my name is therookielot. Just one thing...I put it in my holder while I drive so it's standing vertically. I guess the screen doesn't allow anything but horizontal cuz the video is landscape style online haha. Anyone know how to rotate this?

not so...I used webcam plus all the time and I don't need any wifi. No secondary connection necessary but if you get a phone call during webcam conference, the program will disconnect

i've heard that webcamera plus runs in a funky resolution on the TP. But I assume it at least streams the correct resolution to the PC?

I've never tried using my PPC for a webcam. I've seen programs for it, but never tried it because the camera on my Titan sucked. Now that I have Touch Pro, I'll have to give it a try and see how it works.

Any suggestions for good programs to do this? What's the best one?

Just want to put my 2 cents in on Qik.

So far so good for me. Quick easy download/install and just as easy to use. Launch the app and click stream. As long as I'm in good coverage, it streams great with only a 3 second delay over EVDO. The audio comes in nice and clear too. This program could come in quite handy, espeically in situation likes car accidents, meetings with your boss...spying on your sig other. :)

Can someone shed a little light on this? I'm sure some of you had the same problems.Or maybe I should just get a new cell phone holder?
