Sprint to Cricket Question
Hi is it possible to switch a Sprint HTC Touch Pro to Cricket, even though the TP has an active number with Sprint (The phone isn't lost/stolen or have an unpaid bill) can't seem to get in touch with owner. Would this be a problem to get activated on the Cricket Network, thanks in advance.

visit cricket.howardforums.com for details, or use a cricket rom which is posted in the rom section. call cricket and give them the esn and you are done.

by the way i see you are in LA, LA is a metroPCS market. you will need to convert the phone to metroPCS not cricket.

Re: Sprint to Cricket Question
So in ohio we have a company that took place of Cricket
it's called Revol, they use all the towers cricket did; I was wondering would I need a special rom just for Revol, or would the cricket rom work? |
Re: Sprint to Cricket Question
Actually I'm selling the phone on eBay because I'm still with Sprint and couldn't setup the phone on Sprint because the phone already was activated with another number and I can't get a hold of the person I bought it from so she can cancel her account with Sprint. So I wanted to make sure I can sell the phone and have it be able to be activated on another carrier. So far the high bidder is located in Fresno and wants to activate the phone though Cricket, Thanks alot Isriam for your help.
I did unlock the phone and put Dream's 1.2 ROM on the phone. |
Re: Sprint to Cricket Question
My only question is why would someone sell a phone that is still activated on their account? Wouldn't this be a red flag of some sort? What was the reason the seller gave for selling this phone to you? Don't get me wrong, I am just trying to figure all of this out.

Re: Sprint to Cricket Question
could be stolen, but not much anyone here could do other than shake a finger at the person.

Re: Sprint to Cricket Question
OK, on Valentine's Day a friend bought the HTC touch Pro for his girlfriend but they had a big fight on Valentine's night and he never gave her the phone. So when he let me know about his situation I told him I would buy the phone off him so it wouldn't be a total loss. The only problem was that the Sprint account was in her name and when he called her to take the phone off her account she told him to screw off.
