Angry How do you Navigate to \Windows directory via activesync?

I'm trying to copy .exe (opera, camera, etc) files from \windows but it seems like i can only access that directory via my Touch Pro...which takes forever with file explorer!!

I've seen people say do this via activesync but when I explore files/folders on my TP from my computer...i can only see things like My Docs, Program files, storage card, etc...

I've been going to \Windows directory on my phone, copying the .exe file, then pasting it in a place i can access thru activesync (like My Docs)...then going back and doing it again...but like i said, \Windows takes forever to load with File Explorer..Any help?

Re: How do you Navigate to \Windows directory via activesync?

Plug in your phone and click 'Explore' in ActiveSync. You'll see this window:

Double click "My Windows Mobile-Based Device". From there, click 'Tools' > 'Folder Options' then the 'View' tab towards the top of the window.

Next click the bubble by "Show hidden files and folders", then apply.

You'll be back at your main window, double click "My Windows Mobile-Based Device" and now your Windows folder will be visible

Be ready for a wait when opening your Windows folder. Depending on how much you've done with your phone, it can take 60+ seconds to open.

click on the "my windows mobile device" icon and you will see windows, but unfortunatly it's still pretty slow, it has to render TONS of stuff!
