thanks you are awesome i was about ready to pull my hair out trying to go to moviefone.com . can u even imagine the stuff it kept auto typing.

I can't find the 'suggest' mode I used to have . . . forget how I set that up.

Don't want: autocorrection, autocompletion while I'm typing

What I had was a little pop-up that suggested 4 words. I could scroll through them and hit enter to select. I have 'suggest words' on, but it only works when I turn t9 mode on. I have autocomplete and correct spelling off in t9 (under settings, options), but t9 mode still goes ahead and forces word completion . . .can't even type over it.

Any idea how to get suggestions back, without getting word completion?

You are my hero! I thanked you but I just had to say it too. I was just so frustrated with the T9 setting. I just about to throw the phone against the wall.

fn space -> ABC worked for me as well, this has been bugging me FOREVER. THANK YOU!
