rocker pad coming loose - product defect

anyone elses rocker pad coming up on the left hand side? mine seems to be coming up alot more than usual and you can almost lift it up

Yes....my second touch pro that I bought from someone here on PPCGeeks had this issue. Took it to the Sprint store and the exchanged it for free.

However....it wasnt easy...they tried telling me it was normal....until I whipped out my other Pro and compared it for them. Seeing them side by side it was obvious and they couldn't argue about it.

The "host" of the store pushed it back into place and said "Look its fine now"

I was like..."um...thanks, but I'd still like to speak to a REAL technician, k thks."

finally had to go back and show them how it was sticking up. since i pushed it down and it stayed down

hrmmm mine is sticking up, doesnt really bother me.

If you press it down, it will stay for a bit before it eventually pops back up. there is not enough adhesive on the back. Mine got bad after a few months, but I didn't want to exchange it since everything else was working well... I just ended up using some epoxy and fixed it myself. It's been fine since...
