Question about flashing Touch Pro to MetroPCS.....

The Metro store said they could flash my Touch Pro over to MetroPCS w/ just talk and text..........

If I take my Touch Pro to a MetroPCS store and have them flash it w/o the internet and pic mail, etc.........can I still take it to someone who knows how to do it later and have them activate the features that Metro can't activate like internet, pic mail, & GPS???

Yes, I bought an unlocked TP and got it flashed at a metro store then took it to a guy. Now I have unlimited talk, text, MMS, GPS (google maps, NOT turn by turn), Internet, e-mail, uploads to facebook and youtube.

All that for 50 bucks is just unbeatable.

Hi, Pembroke Pines, Florida. It was a 50 minutes drive for me, but the guy did it in less than an hour. I found him in craigslist. Google around and you should be able to find someone near you, just make sure you don't mail the phone to anyone. On a sad note I'm having a little bit of trouble with the keyboard, it seems to be a relatively common hardware problem in the TP .
Besides that I'm happy with the phone and actually looking forward to give this one to my wife (she doesn't text or use the internet or office as much as I do, so she would be OK if the keyboard dies) and get a TP2 as soon as I'm positive about it working OK. Good luck

iv not looked into this much but from my understanding you shouldnt have to pay anyone this could be done all by yourself

yea im sure that you can find a metropcs rom loaded with anything you would want
