Sending email issues

Hello everyone,

I seem to be having a problem sending emails on my TP. No matter what email account I use, it doesn't seem to send any emails. I compose the email, hit send and nothing. It dissapears or gives me an error. The email doesn't even show up in my sent or draft folder. I am trying to send mail on accounts that have different ISP's and none of them work. Anyone know what I can do about this?

Thanks!

Re: Sending email issues

Some ISP's will not allow you to send from a remote device via their network. It has to do with spam mitigation. You typically have to use a different set of settings for outbound email vs incoming. My primary email is RoadRunner (TimeWarner), but I have to use VZW's SMTP server for my outbound mail. There are several posts on this site regarding this issue. One just went up last week, I think. The search function will get you going in the right direction.

Having same problem. Found if I set up new email account again it sends just fine ... until I'm sending a message out & phone call or text meassage comes in. Appears to interupt sending of message & then it will not send again until I delete that account & set it up all over again. Anyone know of a work around for this problem?

we cant access voice and data at the same time so an incomming call would interupt the data needed to send the email
