How do I change time zones withOUT changing appt times?

I use google calendar for my appointments, which I then sync over to my phone. I am using the stock WinMo calendar app.

Whenever I change time zones, the appointment times also change. Is there a way to prevent the appt times from changing? I only want the clock's display to change.

This also happens when using outlook. The only way around this is to schedule the appointments in the time zone you are in.

For example, when I go to Arizona on business, my phone rolls back two hours. If I want my appointments to show at the correct time, I must change the time zone for that particular appointment to Arizona.

Yeah I was afraid of that, but there are too many appointments to have to change. I just wasn't thinking when I made them. I may just not change my clock's time when I get there.
But there HAS to be a way to do this, right? I mean is there a reg hack or something?

I did some searching, and found this link...

http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread...ght=time+zones

However, the solutions offered are not much different than I previously posted. I think that this is just the way it is when dealing with these phones.

There was a link to Pocket Informant in the link above... that might be your best bet at this point. Good Luck!

Re: How do I change time zones withOUT changing appt times?

Thank you for your help. I did do a search, both here and through google, and didn't find that thread.
Yeah, they mentioned WebISToolbox, but the link takes you to a blank page on pocketinformant. Maybe pocketinformant can do this? Don't know, never tried it.

Maybe one day there might be a work around.
Might try to dust off the old programming skills myself, lol.
