Return to home screen on call end?

Is there some way to have the phone go back to the home menu when you end a phone call rather then at the dialer screen?

Also I dunno what its called... But when you get a text message and it pops up at the bottom of the screen with the message and the option to mark it as read, reply, or delete... What is that option called and how do i toggle that on or off?

Re: Return to home screen on call end?

On mine the dialer closes after a while. Does yours not do that?

On the txt message notification, that should be in start/settings/sounds & notifications

Re: Return to home screen on call end?

it goes back to the home screen after about 30 seconds. I want it to go back to the home screen as soon as the call ends. There is no reason for me to be at the dialer screen when a call is over.

As far as the settings/sounds&notifications for the sms popup... I dont see anything for that...

Settings/Sounds & Notifications/Notifications tab/Event: New Test Message

Uncheck "Display message on screen"

Re: Return to home screen on call end?

I would give Advanced Configuration Tool a try for the text issue if coolwhip1220 suggestion doesn't work.

Ah... ok, I don't think that has change in ages, its a function of the dialer (to close itself after about 30 seconds)

I'm usually on the BT headset and can't see it anyway since its on my hip at the time.... If you can't wait just press the home button!

I hate that I have to press a button to go back to the home screen!! lol, for what I spent on this phone it should give me the option as to what to do when the call is ended... This seriously doesnt bother anyone but me!?! lol
