Camera Not Recognising Free Space on SD Card

OK, here is my Dilema.
I have a 8GB memory card with 4GB free space and the default destination to store pictures on my phone is the Storage Card. But for some reason, the Camera App only lets me take a maximum of 13 pictures, Video only 2 minutes, and then it displays out of memory.
I have copied off everything and Formatted the SD Card, and it still displays the same thing.
But if I switch storage to Main Memory, it says 156 pictures can be taken, and yet it only has like 145MB left there. And the size of the pictures are 745KB at most so far.
Any help here would be highly appreciated.

Using Merdin 3.4 ROM

Thanks

Re: Camera Not Recognising Free Space on SD Card

To be honest with you,,, what I would do to find out the problem,, is back up everything you got..

then hard reset... try the camera again,, if it still has the same problem,,

then flash back to stock rom,,, try the cam again,, if it works properly on the stock rom,, then id look for an alternative rom to flash,, or contact the maker of the rom you were using and alert them to the problem,, see if a fix can be made then reflash...

if even on the stock rom it does this,, then id look into taking the phone back...

hope this helps

I will try some other SD Card when I get it. It is a 8GB SDHC Card.
I have not hard reset, and even if I do, I always have a backup using SPB Clone. I will try it though, Thanks guys for your input.

I put the transcend micro sd back in and it says 486 again i think the camera only see's 4gb on the 8gb sd card because im using 3826mb but when i go over 4gb the camera read's 0 im still unsure. im still diagnosising it
