camera delay

im sure this has been discussed before but is there any way to in a sense speed up the camera so that it doesnt have that horrible delay between pressing for the picture to be taken and the actual picture being taken?

Re: camera delay

Kill the sound is probably one of the quickest ways to eliminate some delay.

But OR78 is right, there are a couple of threads on this already. "Camera Delay" should get you all you need.

Re: camera delay

It helps a bit if you change the 'Shoot Option' mode to Touch and Press (Settings > Advanced > Page 3/5 > Shoot Option). On touching the center button the camera gets the slow focus lock out of the way. Then all you have to do is push the button to take the pic. Hope that was the answer you were looking for!
