Bluetooth Headset--specific needs

Before you tell me to go off an search one of the many BT headset threads.....

I have specific things I'd like to accomplish, and want to get some feedback from y'all about what works. I leave my phone on my desk at work, but can usually hear its ring. I'm a physician seeing patients, so I leave my BT headset in my pocket rather than on my ear. I'd like to get a headset with caller ID on it (and vibrate would be nice). I also like the ones that have the earpiced part that fits into the ear like Apple headphones do (my Plantronics 220 has this weird oval shape that doesn't really work for me) and with an over the ear loop to hold it in place. Size and battery life isn't a huge issue as I will only use it periodically during the day. I just want to know which calls to take (from the hospital) and which ones to let go (from the wife!).

So in short, I'd like input on a BT headset that:
1. Has caller ID on the headset
2. Earbud design (with earhook)
3. Vibrate mode would be nice
4. Works well with Touch Pro, distances of 20 feet

Any of you have ideas on which one is best (and works for them on the Touch Pro)?

Nope sorry. Just did a quick search for you. I also found this one but no vibrate http://www.legitreviews.com/article/256/1/
This http://www.infosyncworld.com/news/n/7868.html is the one I was thinking of. Its more for stereo but can also be used for making and receiving calls and has caller id

lol why would you want caller id on the headset? you gotta take off the headset every time a call comes in? you may as well just look at your phone.

If you'll look at my first post, I leave the phone on the desk and the headset in my pocket as I see my patients in the office.

go with the Blueant V1. It works A+ with touch pro. It comes with the piece to go in ear as well as a little clip so you can clip it to your jacket or shirt pocket. And the earpiece speaks the number of who is calling. Doesn't vibrate but does everything else you are looking for and newegg has been having them on special.

so does the blueant v12 sync with the phonebook to tell you the name of the caller or will it only display the number?

Re: Bluetooth Headset--specific needs

It simply dials out the number. It says the number.

Re: Bluetooth Headset--specific needs

The V1 is all voice recognition. It talkes in your ear to do everything thing from pair to the phone to check the battery. All you have to do is talk to the headphone and it does what you tell it.
