Same bump on mine.
I looked at another TP in the store at the time I bought mine, and it had the same thing. This was on 12/31/08.

Verizon offered to Fed-Ex Overnight am delivery a replacement phone , but I am thinking this will likely be present on the replacement too........

mine has the bump and has a myriad of issues
I called for a replacement, and got another bump wow vzw sucks

seriously build quality isn't that great if there are THAT many cases of the same thing!
