Re: Dead Keyboard

My Keyboard is having this problem. It all of a sudden stops working.. and I have to do a soft reset and SOMETIMES it works... I usually just have to wait til the phone decides it wants to work again. It's very frustrating. Anyway, I took it to Sprint, but unfortunatley, with my luck, it was working when they took a look at it, so they wouldn't help me. Any advice of what to tell them next time? It made me really mad that they just tried it once, it worked, so they said nothing is wrong! And I DONT wanna wait til the keyboard goes completely out...

A different employee might be more helpful... tell them it's intermittent. That it affects your productivity. It's not what you paid for. And pisses you off. Worse to worse... report as lost/stolen, pay the $50. Get a new one. Sell old one on ebay for parts. Did that with a mogul and broke even.

Re: Dead Keyboard

Hey guys this is my first post on PPCGeeks anyway lol. I to had this keyboard problem and me being stubborn about buying a data plan on verizon, converted a sprint touch pro to verizon. Well after about 1 month my keyboard would fade in and out or lag and speed up. Then 3 days ago it completely went. Me being a BIG BIG texter needed a new phone or to get this phone fixed. So I learned how to open it. The problem is the ribbon cable leading to under the left side of the space bar. All that happens is if you press space to hard to often it does push out the cable slightly. So after pushing the cable back down my keyboard flies like the old days. So If you want to pm me and ill try and walk you through the easy process of opening and kind of fixing your problem. Thanks Matt
